Patients living with sickle cell disease, cancer and heart conditions often need blood urgently, and blood banks run low. Donate-A-Pint brings students, clinicians and residents to give, with the National Blood Service Commission and the UCH Blood Bank running the clinical side and our volunteers running everything else.

A single pint can help up to three patients. Every pint goes straight to the UCH Blood Bank.

  • We partner with the UCH Blood Bank and the National Blood Service Commission.
  • Volunteers register donors, run pre-donation checks and look after donors afterwards.
  • Medical students’ associations, the Nigerian Red Cross and campus clubs bring their members.
